Affordable Divis

I got the opportunity to make pins for the Affordable Divis initiative that is advocating for more affordable housing in the Divisadero and Midtown neighborhoods in San Francisco. I chose this design, using the Painted Ladies, a well-known site in the neighborhood, and turned them upside down to comment on the unstable housing market in San Francisco. I passed the pins out to at a Save Midtown meeting, which was fighting against the reconstruction of the Midtown Park Apartments that would kick-out most of the long-time residents.
